1. COMPLIMENTS/COMPLAINTS

1.1 COMPLIMENTS:

Should you wish to compliment our salon / staff please feel free to do so on any of our social media platforms or via email on info@toscasalon.co.za

1.2 COMPLAINTS:

Should you wish to complain please do so by contacting us via email on info@toscasalon.co.za or phone the salon Manager. Please do not complain on our social media platforms as we would like the opportunity to rectify the situation in person and without getting parties involved that has nothing to do with the complaint.

2. PURCHASES: HAIR OR BEAUTY RETAIL / HOME CARE

2.1 RECOMMENDATIONS:

Our staff will ask the necessary questions to assist each client with their hair or beauty requirements and recommend the product best suited to the clients needs based on the information the client has provided. If the client does not require our assistance during the purchase we cannot be held liable should the client purchase the incorrect product.

2.2 UNSATISFACTORY PRODUCTS:

Should the client purchase a product and find the product unsatisfactory and return the product after opening or using the product, we are not able to do a refund or replace the product immediately. We would have to send the product to the supplier for further inspection or testing and then give the client feedback on whether the product can be exchanged.

2.3 PRODUCT REFUNDS:

All products purchased may be returned within 7 days of the purchase date should you be able to provide an original receipt as proof of purchase and all packaging is in its original state, no seals broken and product is unused. Refunds will not be done in cash due to fraud. The salon Manager / Receptionist will provide the client with paper work to be completed, where after an EFT will be done to the bank account details provided for the refund.

2.4 SALE/DISCOUNTED PRODUCTS:

Products purchased at discounts or on sale may not be returned for refund or exchange.

3. SERVICES IN SALON (HAIR & BEAUTY)

3.1 CONSULTATION:

It is standard procedure at all Tosca Salon Branches for stylists and therapists to do a consultation with each client before commencing with their service. Should the client insist to relinquish the recommendation of the stylist or therapist, Tosca will not be held liable for the outcome should the client be displeased or expectation not met.

3.2 EXPECTATIONS:

All services and procedures are performed with the greatest effort and care to ensure that all clients expectations are met. There are many factors to be accounted for when doing chemical services and should the client expectation not be met for whatever reason, Tosca will endeavour to resolve the matter in a professional manner.

3.3 CHEMICAL SERVICES:

Chemical services will have certain risks and therefore our staff will recommend the best products or services to avoid damage to the clients hair. Should the clients hair not be in a state to perform a particular service the client might be advised to go on a program to get the hair to a healthier state before we perform the particular service. Services such as bleach baths can cause damage / irritation to the scalp and this service is not recommended without an in salon treatment. From time to time clients come in for a complete colour change from Black to Blonde in one day – this is impossible without damage even with treatments and care taken, our stylists will recommend that this is done over a few weeks or months. Should the client experience any bleach bath service we trust that the stylist has explained the consequences to the client and Tosca will not be held liable for any damage in this regard.

3.4 HAIR COLOUR:

Hair colour does fade over time and should you experience a problem with your colour fading within 7 days from your service please contact the salon Manager for the client to come in for a consultation to resolve this. We will take into account Home Care products that are used, lifestyle and other important questions that need to be asked before we can conclude such a situation. Tosca cannot guarantee the work if another professional or salon has made changes to our colour or work performed before we had the opportunity to correct it.

3.5 IN SALON TREATMENTS:

Tosca recommends that all chemical services be accompanied by a specialized in salon treatment to assist with maintenance of your colour and prevent damage to your hair. Should the client decline the recommendation of an in salon treatment on the day of the service we cannot guarantee the outcome and Tosca will not take responsibility for the outcome.

3.6 BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT:

Brazilain Blowout Services: No guarantee can be given on the treatment should the client not purchase the Brazilian Blowout Retail recommended by the stylist. The treatment will not last the recommended three to four months if the correct home care is not used to maintain the treatment.

3.7 NAILS AND TOES:

Should the client leave the salon satisfied with their nails or toes painted, Tosca cannot be held responsible for any smudging or bumping that occurs after leaving the salon. We recommend that you enjoy a cup of coffee in the salon after your service to wait for your nails / toes to dry.

3.8 BEAUTY TREATMENTS:

Please contact the salon manager should you have any queries or complaints so that we can resolve this in a professional manner.

3.9 COLOUR/HIGHLIGHTS:

All colour or highlight complaints will be handled professionally and no cash refunds will be given on any services hair or beauty.
